A carefully balanced blend, including black
and small striped sunflower seeds, sunflower hearts, peanut granules,
and canary seeds, Special Mix is the ideal standard food for use throughout
the year. Since most of the sunflower seeds retain their husks, they are
better protected from rain and damp: an important consideration in the
winter months or when the weather is unusually wet. It offers a balanced diet for the widest possible variety of species throughout the year, and we are careful to specify GM free ingredients throughout. Best of all, you won’t find unsuitable seeds or cheap fillers such as wheat and barley that are often used to bulk out other makes. Ideal for all SCHWEGLER feeders (except mesh-style peanut feeders).
