Therefore they are extremely long-lasting and will withstand damage by weather or predators. The metal fittings are rust-proof, the wire mesh is heavy-gauge stainless steel which is resistant to squirrels, and the polycarbonate tubes are UV-stabilised to prevent discolouring or cracking. These feeders suit a very wide variety of species, are exceptionally tough and simple to clean. The tubular feeders with feeding ports and perches are designed for mixed seeds, sunflower seeds.
